Over the last few months we have experienced several price increases on the supply of cotton and leather gloves. This is due to a shortage of raw leather and a shortage of cotton in China. In addition, tougher environmental regulations have limited the amount of product available to the United States. We have been forced to raise the prices on many of our styles of work gloves.
These fluctuations in prices will likely last for most of 2011; however, we are hoping the prices will come back down to historical levels at some point in the future. Once the costs of the gloves recede, we will be sure to reduce our prices in turn.
